Veruca's Main living area
This is Veruca's living room/study/bedroom. Though she has had the option of having a separate bedroom, she will not sleep in any "girlie" beds that I've had for her. So, she has decided to make the sofa her bed for now. From the looks of it, she loves spending time here but, leave it to her to complain about the lack of a "proper bed" anyhow. Veruca spends time here reading, watching tv, writing, and conjuring up daytrips and adventures (much to my shagrin).

Christmas Dinner
Turkey with rice and beans and cranberry sauce.
Veruca loves to cook and entertain. Although she may seem a little rough around the edges, as far as graciousness goes, she loves to have her friends over for dinner and a movie. I don't know many of her friends yet, since she likes her life to be a little private but, I have seen some of her and Monsieur Domo's Domo friends come over on occassion.
Veruca's Kitchen
The first week with us, Veruca made it a point to demand ask for a fully equipped kitchen. An espresso machine was on top of her list. Unfortunately, for me, she got hold of ebay and saw that the Espresso machine wasn't all she wanted. Countless charges later, Veruca was satisfied and I was...broke. Happy for her, but broke nonetheless.

The Basement/Laundry/Dressing Room
This room is basically a catchall. Never knew such a little Person would accumulate so much!
Veruca is pretty much self-sufficient. Save for the occassional shopping or day trips she takes with us, she usually does it pretty much all on her own. She does her own laundry and even knows how to fix things around the house. At first I thought that she was the type to not do maintenance work around the house but, she's not. Apparently she rather "do it right the first time" versus paying someone else to "do it wrong" (according to her.) So, yes. Veruca even has her own tool box and DIY things laying around in this room.
The Dressing Room
Although I can't call Veruca neccessarily "girlie," she did want a proper space for her clothes and accessories. She's not much of a clothes horse but she LOVES t-shirts and collects them whenever she sees one that catches her eye. The space also has a comfy chair and side table to the right but, it's not shown.
